  • comments: The farm is managed by Melissa Barker, the Farm Manager and the day to day work is completed by students enrolled in the Practice of Sustainable Agriculture program. In 2007 The Organic Farm began growing crops specifically for sale to Dining Services. The Organic Farm is also home to the campus Compost Program which handles much of the organic waste on campus and the Bio-Diesel Program which utilizes waste vegetable oil from dining services to make enough bio-diesel to run the farm tractors year-round.
