Needs and challenges:
We are in the early stages of "start-up" on the campus of Jacksonville University. At this point we are gathering information and establishing contacts to present a course of action to the schools adminstration. This is a relatively small campus with no prior sustainable food, community supported agriculture or Real Food activity,etc. These concepts will be, for the most part, newly introduced to the majority of the student body. Our goal is to establish a student farm/garden that will supply organic/locally grown produce to (1)the campus food services and in time (2) to the community immediately surrounding the campus of Jacksonville University. Under Food Activities I have checked the areas of future interest/involvement. Currently we are not functioning in any of these areas. Campus farm is hypothetical.
